Our caramel begins with a treasured family recipe passed down through generations — a recipe built on remarkably simple ingredients and an uncommon amount of patience. Each small batch is tended slowly for hours, allowing pure cream and sugar the time they need to become something extraordinarily rich, silky, and melt-in-your-mouth.
The secret to its depth lies in the cream. As it cooks slowly, the cream takes on a beautiful golden character through the Maillard reaction, developing layers of toasted milk, warm caramel, and delicate nutty notes that mingle with the sweetness of caramelized sugar.
